Lavender Bouquet

There is a wonderful local farm in the Adirondacks where you will find fields of lavender and other wildflowers. I brought home this wonderful bouquet and it was so pretty in the mason jar that I was inspired to paint it to last all year! Glass has it’s interesting little ways of picking up the light through the water and the letters. I just had to try and replicate the way the light sparkled through it in my painting.

I painted this painting using Gamblin Oil Paint on Fredrix Archival Canvas Panel and varnished with Gamvar. It is finished with a 3″ wide Black Frame pre-wired and ready to hang on your wall as soon as you receive it!
