Ruby-throated Hummingbird

This painting was inspired by hummingbirds visiting our feeder every morning and evening. I was inspired to paint our frequent visitor capturing the beautiful colors displayed with the morning light. I used Sennelier Soft Pastels and Conte Pastel Pencils and Nupastels for the fine detail on Archival Museum Grade Sanded Paper. The painting is matted and framed with Gallery wood frame behind Acrylite UV filtered and non-glare acrylic face to protect the painting. It is all ready to hang on your wall!
