This spot just captured my interest with the pools slowly working their way down to the falls leading down towards the Jay Covered Bridge in Jay, NY. The only covered bridge in the Adirondacks! The pools just seemed so inviting to enjoy a quick dip on a hot Summer day. It seems to be a popular place for folks to enjoy. It evoked a calm in the waters above the falls that just seemed so peaceful and I wanted to share that in my painting.
I painted this painting using Gamblin Oil paints on Archival Fredrix Pro Dixie Canvas and varnished with Gamvar Varnish.
