Mellow Yellow Birch

There is something about fluttering Birch leaves in the Fall. I painted this while participating in the Tupper Arts Plein Air Festival in the October 2024. It was a little blustery with the wind, but the sun illuminated the bright yellows and oranges of the leaves of this birch tree. It was in different stages of color changes and I had fun painting the warmth of those leaves against the cool blue of the lake below.

I painted this painting using Gamblin Oil paint on a DaVinci archival wood cradled panel. It is pre-wired and ready to hang as soon as you receive it!
