Frozen In Time

The Adirondacks in Winter is incredible! I was inspired to paint these little white pines holding on to the fluff of snow on their branches and the little pop up babies poking their little stems above the snow. The afternoon light casting the soft blues of the shadows. It all seemed to me to be frozen in time; at least for the moment I was passing by on my snowshoes.

I used Gamblin Oil paint on Fredrix Blue Label Archival Canvas and varnished with Gamvar. The painting is framed in a Black Gallery wood frame and is pre-wired and ready to hang on your wall as soon as you receive it!
