Fly Fishing on West Ausable

The Adirondacks are famous not only for the beautiful scenery, but for Fly Fishing as well! Driving along any of the rivers, you are bound to see a few people fly fishing! I wanted to capture the poetic motion of the casting of the fly and the peaceful solitude each spot seems to bring as one hopes to catch that fish! The rivers here are so clear and the reflections of the light inspire me to paint the colors that bounce off each ripple.
