This painting shares my love of the beautiful characters of the trees in the Adirondacks. With every moment being in the mountains, I cannot help but notice the intricate detail of each of the trees while hiking. They all seem to have their own personality and I wanted to capture this particular yellow birch tree. I pass it often, and the way the light picks up the definitions of the layers at different times of day, just makes me feel like the tree is expressing itself every time I pass it.
I used Gamblin Oil paint on Archival Panel framed in an Antique Gold Wood frame pre-wired and ready to hang on your wall as soon as you receive it!
