This painting was inspired by the beautiful glow of soft pinks and oranges that touch the mountains as the sun set. This area of Keene Valley New York is one of the most photographed spots in the Adirondacks. It is a special spot in all seasons, but this particular August evening I happened to enjoy the fleeting moment when all these colors glowed for just a few moments. I painted this painting during the Adirondack Plein Air Festival.
I painted using Gamblin Oil paints on archival canvas panel and it is framed in a Gold Floating frame. The painting is pre-wired and ready to be hung as soon as you receive it.
Shipping for this painting is Free and only within the U.S.
