Sparkling Brook

This little spot in the woods in the Adirondacks just sparkled in the late afternoon light. I wanted to capture the warm bright greens of the moss covered trees and rocks and share the coolness of the water running down over the rocks. There was just a special way the sun shown through the trees onto the brook.

I painted using Gamblin Oil paints on archival panel and varnished with Gamvar. It is framed in a 3″ wide Black frame. The painting is pre-wired and ready to be hung as soon as you receive it.
