Meandering Brook

This painting was inspired by the beautiful way the water trickled over the rocks in the brook having small sparkly highlights touched by the sun. I wanted to share those little movements of the droplets. It just seemed so relaxing and the spot seemed so pleasant to just spend time hearing the soft sounds of the water trickling over the rocks. I painted this painting during the Adirondack Plein Air Festival.

I painted using Gamblin Oil paints on archival canvas panel and it is framed in a 3″ wide Gold frame. The painting is pre-wired and ready to be hung as soon as you receive it.
