Lily Pads and Flowers

There are so many treasures all around the Adirondacks, not just mountains and trails. Some of the most vibrant places are animal sanctuaries. I just love this spot at Wickham Marsh near Keeseville New York, right by Lake Champlain. While I was painting several of my plein air paintings in this same spot, I was serenaded by some bullfrogs and lots of dragonflies and birds were all around me. The colors were so vibrantly blue and green and purple, I keep being inspired to tap into my “Monet” feeling when painting these lilies and flowers.

I used Gamblin Oil Paint on Archival Edge Canvas by Creative Mark and framed with Cardinali Gold Floating Frame. It is varnished with Gamvar and pre-wired and ready to hang on your wall as soon as you receive it!
