Venturing out into the woods in the Adirondacks in the late Spring invites all the young leaves just emerging with their intense greens. The forest floor still has last years layer of leaves giving contrasting darks that seem to play with the new life of ferns and moss. The little fall was glistening with the dark and light dancing as it cascaded down the rocks.
I used Liquitex Acrylic paints on Jack Richeson & Co. Panel, varnished with Gamvar Varnish and framed in a 3″ wide Gold Frame.
