This was one of the most photographed barns in the Adirondacks for many years. Unfortunately, it is no longer there. But you mention the “Adirondack Barn” and everyone seems to know this spot. It is on the way to Lake Placid along the side of the road in Keene, NY, where the colors of the changing season just glows, and the barn happened to be one of the gems accompanying the glow. I have painted this barn many times and enjoy it every time. The other paintings I have painted of this barn are being enjoyed in their new homes. I was asked if I paint on large canvases and this is one of the subjects I chose to paint. I couldn’t resist and it was so much fun to paint.
I painted using Gamblin Oil Paint on Archival Fredrix Pro Canvas and varnished in Gamvar. It is framed in a gold floating frame. It is pre-wired and ready to hang as soon as you receive it!
Shipping for this painting is Free and only within the U.S. If you have any questions about this painting, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
