The Adirondacks have so many wonderful sky views in the summer time. This particular scene was inspired by the incredible colors that painted the sky with soft pinks and oranges just as the sun set over the mountains. That quick moment when the colors of the sky pop as the sun sets. I painted this scene during the Adirondack Plein Air Festival on a beautiful August evening.
I painted using Gamblin Oil paints on archival canvas panel and it is framed in a 3″ wide Black frame. The painting is pre-wired and ready to be hung as soon as you receive it.
