This little painting was one of many inspirations while snowshoeing in the afternoon. I just love the way the light cast through the trees and played along the snow and little creek giving the soft pastel colors. It reminded me of subtle patches of color on a blanket.
I used Gamblin Oil Paint and varnished with Gamvar on DaVinci Pro Cradled Wood Panel. It is pre wired and ready to hang right on your wall when you receive it! No need for a frame!
