Peaceful Tracks

Cross Country Skiing in the quiet intimate snowy trail through the woods has a special feeling of peace. All you hear is your breathing and the skiis gently swooshing through the snow. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of your busy life, just escape to one of the many quiet trails all over the Adirondacks. I was inspired to paint one of my favorite trails where I not only felt the quiet of the snowy trail, but loved the colors the lighting fell onto the snow covered branches. Everything seemed to have that soft pastel colored highlights where the sun did not touch.

I painted this painting using Gamblin Oils on Archival Canvas, varnished in Gamvar and Framed in a Gold Floating Frame. It is pre-wired and ready to hang as soon as you receive it.
