Honey Bee-Attitude

I had fun painting this during the Adirondack Plein Air Festival enjoying the honeybees coming and going from their hives pollinating and being busy collecting pollen and nectar. They were tucked in at the edge of the forest by the pines giving them some shade on a hot August day. There is something very peaceful and pleasant listening to the hum of their little wings as they were flying. Plus there was a sweet aroma in the air while I was painting.

I painted this painting using Gamblin Oil Paint on Fredrix Archival Canvas Panel. It is framed in a 1-1/2″ wide Antique Gold Frame and pre-wired and ready for you to hang it as soon as you receive it!
