Living in the Adirondacks surrounds me with so much inspiration every day!

2024 is filled with exciting events! I participated in the Eclipse Show in Tupper Arts this past April and sold some paintings! Thank you so much! What a unique event!

With so many events in the Adirondacks, it will be a busy and exciting year! I will have a booth at LARAC Art Festival in Glens Falls, NY June 8-9 in City Park in the heart of Glens Falls. If you’re in the area, please stop by and enjoy over 100 other booths filled with arts and crafts.

I was honored with a “Limited Palette” Award in the Keeseville Plein Air Festival last year. I sold all my paintings! Thank you! Looking forward to the event July 16-20 with the show Friday July 19 and Saturday July 20 in Keeseville, NY. So much history and beauty in the area! It’s a beautiful time to enjoy some art with approximately 40 other artists sharing their paintings.

I am excited to have been invited to participate with local artists in Keene Arts in Keene, NY this year! I will have several paintings in the Gallery August 2-4, 2024. So looking forward to it!

I was accepted to the Juried Adirondack Plein Air Festival this August 12-17 in the Saranac Lake area. I will be among 40 other artists painting the surrounding beauty in the area for 4 days of painting outdoors and then conclude the event with a show of all the paintings on display in the Town Hall in the heart of the village of Saranac Lake. The show is Friday August 16 and Saturday the 17th sponsored by the Saranac Lake ArtWorks.

The colors in the Tupper Lake Plein Air Festival in October are spectacular! The event runs from October 1-5 with the Juried show October 4-5. Whew! So many fun festivals!

My paintings were selected to be part of the Lake Placid Center for the Arts Juried Show in the last several years and looking forward to this year’s shows as well.

You can find several of my paintings displayed year round in the Gallery at Tupper Arts in Tupper Lake, NY. I also have paintings at the Evolving Hands Therapeutic Massage in Lake Placid, NY. (Come get an incredible massage and take home one of my paintings!) I have several paintings in the shows throughout the summer in the Adirondack Art Association Gallery in Essex, NY. and Juried shows throughout the Adirondacks!

I am pleased to be a member of the Saranac Lake ArtWorks and the Adirondack Art Association in Essex, NY. 

My past experience in different creative fields helped me form valuable skills, of which were a great pleasure to be a part of.

I graduated with a BA in Graphic Design at Bridgeport University, worked in design in publishing, printing and as an Art Director for the New Mexican newspaper in Santa Fe, NM. I was honored with a few awards from the Rocky Mountain Advertising competitions for originality. Moving back to New York, raising our 2 wonderful boys, I was able to be part of the Warwick Art League while we resided in Warwick, NY for over 28 years. I continued my painting in local craft shows and at Applefest and Orange County juried shows. My paintings have been displayed in the local hospital, Key Bank and the Veterinarian’s office and Sugarloaf Art Galleries.

 I had the opportunity to work in the props department at the Metropolitan Opera casting and molding, learning many skills for creating stage props. 

The Adirondacks have long been our vacation destination and I am pleased it is now our permanent home. 

Whether it be a sunrise, sunset, mountains, deserts and forests, honeybees, hummingbirds, and even our loving pets; I am constantly inspired to share that beauty in my paintings. My inspiration comes from spending a lot of time with my family hiking and skiing in the Adirondacks and visiting our National Parks all around the country. Even without travelling farther than a few steps from our back door, our pets entertain me with ideas and are constant subjects for me to work with. As a beekeeper, watching the honeybees pollinate and the variety of birds and other wildlife all around our garden. So, with so much inspiration, it is always a pleasure to create something new. I hope that my work is as pleasing to you as it is for me to create.
